Welcome to Arfon Rewinds. We specialise in the supply of pumps, motors, drives and mechanial repair services. Across our two facilities in the North of England, we supply a 24 hour response service to you, our customers.

Arfon Rewinds is a fully equipped, AEMT (Association of Electrical Mechanical Trades), electrical rotating apparatus repair and service facility. Our two site locations collectively amount to almost 20,000 square foot, which has allowed us to take a systematic approach to workshop set up, processes and equipment placement.

  • AC & DC Motor / Generator Rewinding / Transformer / Refurbishing and Testing.
    Our services cover a wide range of electric motors; everything from fractional to 3.3kV. All repairs and rewinding are undertaken to the highest possible standards using the latest technology.
  • Machine Shop Services.
    Horizontal Lathes, Vertical Mills, Horizontal Boring Mills, welding repairs, 100 Ton Press and the associated tooling to get the job done.
  • Metal Spraying / shaft repair.
    This procedure is used to build-up specific fits that are damaged, worn or out of tolerance, then machined to the specified dimensions.
  • Electrical Testing.
    Baker test, Megger, Surge Comparison Testing, Hi-Potential Testing, Polarization Testing, Voltage Drop and Computerized Core Loss Testing. These tests help to pinpoint any problems your motor may have presently, or in the future and direct us toward a specific repair solution.
  • Dynamic Balancing
    Rotors, Armatures, Rotating Fields, Shafts, Pump Impellers, Fans and Turbines
  • Process controlled pyrolysis burn off oven and curing ovens
  • Paint spraying and cleaning is undertaken using the latest environmentally friendly equipment and plant
  • AEMT energy efficient code of practice compliant
